Behind Tomorrow

Premiered in 2022

A feature length dance film that plays with the construct of time and control through a confined space in the representation of a room. We see six characters trying to understand this room. Some are searching for a sense of home, some have duties they need to fullfill, while others are trying to leave. The lingering feeling that they aren’t in control of the room and that it has other intentions for them changes the course of their journey.

A Delicate Blend

Premiered in 2022

A dance film that focuses on the relationship between light, movement and space. We see Xin acknowledging the environment around him, initially cautious and deliberate. As Xin embodies this acceptance his connection to the space grows following the subtle cues of the space, allowing it to shape his dance. This play of light and shadow is reflected through symmetric movement, creating a captivating relationship between the movement and light. When the dust has settled, we see Xin becoming one with the space, as though he has become part of his environment

VERLOREN, ABER NICHT VERLOREN (lost but not lost)

Created in 2023

This film delves into the lesser-explored aspect of London, focusing on the juxtaposition of nature and urbanisation. It offers a unique perspective that unveils the coexistence of nature within the bustling cityscape where people come to breathe. The movement is inspired from being enveloped in nature while acutely aware of the encroaching city buildings.
